_Peter Klinge2.jpgMr. Klinge is a strategic marketing and communications executive with more than 20 years experience with many of the top advertising/marketing services agencies, driving business success for major global brands and early stage companies, in technology and consumer categories.

Prior to OneAccord Mr. Klinge had his own consulting firm and for several years held various senior posts with EURO RSCG leading client Intel’s Intel Inside® global marketing efforts for integrated marketing/communications. He led development and growth for EURO RSCG’s interactive marketing services organization gaining 8X revenue growth, healthy margins, and global expansion of its operations into a worldwide leader. His group’s achievements earned Mr. Klinge recognition by AdWeek 2000 as one of the foremost creative thinkers in marketing.

Mr. Klinge believes in Breakout Ideas that link strategic marketing to business objectives. Breakout Ideas require understanding and defining the substance of a company to shape how a company differentiates and markets its business. They focus the company mission, energize staff, strengthen customer relationships, grow sales, guide a potent brand, and advance product innovation.

Mr. Klinge’s experience: 10+ years consumer: P&G, Pepsi, Unilever; 10+ years technology: Compaq, IBM, Intel. At BBDO he helped drive the creative development/production of the award-winning Super Bowl Diet Pepsi Campaign “You Got the Right One Baby…UH HUH!” with Ray Charles. His involvement with major celebrity talents and directors went on to include Alec Baldwin, Joe Pytka, Joe Montana, Magic Johnson, Rickey Henderson, and Jerry Lewis. At Lintas Worldwide, Mr. Klinge led the marketing launch of the IBM LaserPrinter- the seminal product for the Lexmark spin off; while at Ammirati Puris/Lintas, he helped launch Compaq Presario’s consumer lifestyle campaign, driving Presario to the top consumer PC brand.

Mr. Klinge’s work earned numerous marketing/creative awards: Clio’s, Cannes Lions, One Show, Gold Effies, Addys, and ICON Marketing Awards. “AdWeek 2000″ named him a new media star for leading a major interactive marketing organization. He has published numerous marketing articles, and teaches undergraduate and graduate level marketing at various universities.

Mr. Klinge has lived in Latin America and Europe. He’s studied global leadership with the International Institute for Management Development (IMD) in Lausanne, Switzerland, and holds an MBA, Fordham University (NY), and a B.S. in Communications Management from the Ithaca College Park School of Communications (NY); appointed Rotary Exchange Scholar to Mexico.

Mr. Klinge is a competitive amateur ice hockey player, coach, and avid skier. He and his wife Amy, a doctor, have a son. They enjoy theater, film, travel and the outdoors. Their family has been involved with the Olympic movement since being volunteer members of the Salt Lake 2002 Olympic Winter Games.
