Mr. Hintz is a highly organized, strategic and creative executive with expertise in product research/development, price optimization, market segmentation and mapping brand strategies. Dale is a leader who takes on tough business issues, generates creative solutions, motivates action by the team and produces profitable results.
Mr. Hintz's expertise comes from more than 20 years of experience with start-up organizations looking to make their mark, as well as Fortune 500 enterprises refocusing their product and service offerings to more effectively compete for increased market share. His diverse experience includes driving Consumer, B2B and Wholesale Distribution channels and P&L responsibility as a General Manager. With Johnson Control's strategic growth partner AutoZone, he led a cross functional team to develop a brand, price and product positioning strategy to meet the needs of this leading retailer. The result was exceeding AutoZone's expectations on what could be done with a product category, adding $30 million in revenue and being recognized with the prestigious Chairman's Award for Customer Satisfaction.
A core competency of Mr. Hintz is focusing on the customer's customer – what they want and more importantly what they will pay for. As VP of Marketing for Batteries Plus this customer focus grew 4-stores into a national franchise by doing what the larger competitors looked past. Innovative on-site custom manufacturing and integrating retail and commercial sales into one powerful business model created distinct competitive advantages. The complete sales and marketing program integrated each customer step so the customer could value these significant competitive advantages.
Mr. Hintz, has also been successful working with Interstate Battery and Temple-Inland on extending product lines and leveraging new channels of distribution. A key to developing new channels is growing the new, while simultaneously continuing to grow the old. At Temple-Inland a revolutionary digital printing process was launched for consumer and industrial packaging. An award winning web site provided on-line design capabilities as well as quick transactions. Existing channels were trained and coached on how to take advantage of the revolutionary technology, resulting in accelerated speed to market and lower start-up costs for customers like FedEx-Kinko's, Mary Kay, US Post Office and KONE.
Dale, has worked with clients and customers all across North America including a transition team for a Canadian acquisition. To best serve clients and customers he has developed responsive supply chains negotiating with vendors to partner in the company's new vision.
Dale has an MBA from Marquette University, studied Product Management at the University of Chicago and holds a BA in Business from Carthage College in Kenosha, Wisconsin where he was recognized in "Who's Who in Colleges and Universities".
Currently, Mr. Hintz works out of the Dallas Region for OneAccord. He serves on Elder Board of his Church. He and his wife, Angela, concentrate their efforts on supporting the growth of their three dynamic children.
