Blain Wease is a seasoned business executive with an extensive background, working with companies to create and retain revenue. He has deployed a broad range of strategies and experience to grow small to mid range organizations into healthier futures.
Blain has primarily focused his expertise within organizations in the business-to-business space, which utilize direct sales teams. In 2005 he formed his own consulting firm that focused on companies interested in improved financial performance, sales & marketing results, strategic planning, leadership development, and organizational excellence.
Serving in a variety of roles has uniquely positioned him to take a holistic approach with his client's objectives. Some of these positions have included; Interim CEO of a manufacturing company, Vice President of Sales & Marketing and Director of Business Development. Blain is consistently focused on improving the internal functionality of his clients' companies, which, when connected to a well-crafted go-to-market strategy, leads to a stronger bottom line and a more enjoyable business environment.
Recently, Blain built in its entirety, the sales and marketing platform for a leading international company, in the field of work place violence prevention. This included sales training, infrastructure, compensation and sales strategy, to successfully reach the Fortune 1000. His contributions laid the groundwork for a twenty percent increase in annual revenue, significant increases in efficiency and positioned the company for scalable, sustainable growth.
Bringing to the table notable business acumen, communication skills and accomplished problem-solving abilities, Blain has served on the Economic Development Council facility for Colombia State College. This council was focused on business development within rural communities in the South East. He also served with several non-profit boards and other community based business groups.
Blain is experienced in training, public speaking and facilitating entrepreneurial development. He has spoken for a number of Chambers of Commerce, civic groups and various conferences. His strengths help him translate complex ideas into actionable steps.
Blain is from Toronto, Canada, where he attended college. He is married and the father of four children. Recreationally he enjoys golf, travel, architecture, American History and reading. He resides in the Nashville metro area.
